  Moved to a new build in the Verona postal area a month ago, had them hold mail until the ground thawed enough to post a new mailbox in front of my house. Went 4 times to pick up my mail, only to be told I don't have any...which surprises me because I've got tracking numbers for 5 items that say they're waiting at the post office; upon my notifying them of this fact, the only response was confoundment. Showed up this evening to pick up (after confirming that they in fact magically have my mail now) to wait in line because they had one person working the front. At 5:30, a woman comes out from the back and closes/locks the door in front of me and 2 other people who were not fully past the threshold of the inside lobby door. "Sorry, its 5:30 and we're closed" and a shrug of the shoulders and she was gone, locking us out. If you have outgoing mail, go find another location in less of a podunk shitthole little village. If you're compelled to go there for inbound mail, my condolences, thoughts, and prayers. Good luck. This place sucks. 0/5.

  The postal carrier wadded up mail and papers and has shoved them in my box like garbage. Thanks. Is there a way to fine someone for destroying your mail? Is mishandling an offence?

  I don't know if the staff are lazy, incompetent, or just don;t care but they were pretty unhelpful and condescending the couple times I've had to deal with them for delivery issues. Unfortunate to live in Verona for this reason.
